A late goal two minutes into added time secured all three points for Slazenger.
Both sides played some good hockey throughout this battle, with both sides strong in midfield. Slaz absorbed some early pressure with Ben Rhydding going close on two occasions following a series of short corners.
Keeper Keith Hellem helped keep the visitors at bay. He made three excellent saves in the first half. Slaz responded by exerting pressure toward the later part of the half. Then Jonathan Clewlow started to show the skills which earned him the man of the match accolade. The visitors had to draw on all their experience to keep him at bay.
But Clewlow eventually broke through to set up Graham for the late winner. James Walker, Martin Lofthouse and Murray Aymesbury put in good performances.
