Slazenger continued their surge towards the East Pennine League second division with a convincing win over strong opposition.
Slazenger went on the defensive from the whistle then broke out for man of the match Mark Butel to score after only four minutes.
Webb made it 2-0 before half time but Adel pegged one back in the second half from a flicked short corner.
It proved to be merely a wake-up call for Slazenger who made it three through James Swindon.
Adel claimed a second goal, again from a short corner, but Slazenger’s defence got back to its best and from there on in, it was on-way traffic.
Butel powered a shot across the D for Gilston to deflect it in and Butel claimed his second from the penalty spot to wrap up the scoring after Gilston had been felled by the goalkeeper. Slazenger play Huddersfield on Saturday, push back 1.30pm.
