SLAZENGER RISE TO CHALLENGE TO CRUSH NEAREST TITLE RIVALS
Slazenger were out to prove themselves against their second placed opponents – and they rose to the test.
A positive start was made by both teams, with Nick Webb opening the scoring for Slazenger with a well-taken corner.
Slazenger took control of the game when Webb quickly added to his total, and tow further goals, for Jonny Wiper and Alec Gilston in the second half made it 4-0.
The visitors scored a well-worked consolation goal, but the day belonged to Slazenger with Webb, Marcus Taylor and wiper in good form.
The side travel to Bradford University 1st’s in their next fixture.
