Slazenger secured three vital Yorkshire League 1 points with a reasonably solid performance against Bradford.
Slazenger took an early lead in the first half with a well-taken goal from Butel.
But although the home side looked the stronger team, they were unable to capitalise on their chances and failed to add to their tall before the break.
Slazenger put Bradford under increased pressure in the second half and doubled their tally through Chamberlain.
Despite some good goalkeeping from man of the match Hellam, Bradford managed to pull a goal back.
Butel added his second of the match to make the game safe, but Bradford still had enough in reserve to score a lucky second.
