Hale and hearty Slazenger fourths pulled no punches in their 4-1 away win over a tidy Tadcaster seconds outfit.
Slazenger were solid all the way up the middle and went two up with goals from Dave Smyth and Richard Hutchins. Tadcaster pegged one back but this merely spurred Slazenger on to better things and two more goals for Smyth and James Walker.

A much changed Slazenger fourths still managed to out-gun visitors Normanby Park 3-0.
Jonathan Clewlow, Gavin Kaye and James Walker worked particularly well in attack while seasoned campaigner Dave Smyth scored two of the three goals off quick counter-attacks.
Gavin Kaye out away the third from a good cross into the circle.

Slazenger fourths failed to capitalise on the good hockey played and allowed Adel fourth to take the friendly spoils 2-0.
The home goalkeeper denied Slazenger skipper Jonathan Halliday and yound centre-forward Richard Hutchins to keep the game goalless up to half time.
Midfield ace Alan Killy, kept Slazenger going but Adel managed to twice over power the defence to take an unassailable two-goal lead.

Slazenger fourths secured another victory at the weekend, this time a 3-1 success over Boston Spa fourths.
Slazenger were 2-0 up by half-tim with goals from Ian Gordon.
Boston pegged one back early in the second half, but Slazenger picked up the pace and made the game safe with a third goal scored by James Walker.

Slazenger 4th’s lost out 2-1 in a closely-fought game against Zenecca 1sts. Trailing 2-0, Slaz fought back well after the break with Simon Parkes goal giving them a real boost but they could not get that all-important second goal, despite the fforts of man of the match James Wood
