Men's 1st's (4) vs. (1) Harrogate 2nd's Men's firsts took on Harrogate 2nd's on saturday. Seperated by a single league position, it looked to be a close encounter. Men's 1st's (1) vs. (1) City of York 2nd's Men's 1st's travelled away to City of York for a competitive fixture at the Huntington. While York were the stronger on paper, they struggled to break through a defensive wall of Drake, Gascoigne and Birkett. Men's 1st's (2) vs. (1) Huddersfield 1st's Men's 1st's took a rare 3 points from their encounter away at Huddersfield 1st's. Men's 1st's (5) vs. (4) Sheffield Hallam 3rd's The Men’s First Team were at home to Sheffield Hallam last week. Now I don’t know if it was a Halloween hangover but it was spooky to see them warming up properly!
