Slazengers Ladies 2nds continue their fight for promotion, with an important win which keeps them in contention. 2nd place in the league is now contested by Slaz and 3 other teams, with only 1 point seperating them all. Slaz had a steady start to the game, though came through with a 3-0 win. Daisy Gee-Sanders scored the opener, with Sue Hope securing a brace to wrap up proceedings. Slaz ladies 3rds returned to the pitch after a week away due to frost. However, they were quick to get back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over the Otliensians 2nds'. Slazenger mens 1st's continued their run of success eventually coming out top against local rivals Wakefield 3rd's. Slaz had an early start away to Wakefield, but some strong passing play across the pitch and attacking down the wings ensured that it wasn't a wasted trip.
