Dear Club Colleague The Level 1 and Level 2 courses for Yorkshire have pretty much run for the year and the only courses left before Sept/Oct 2012 are as follows: Level 1 – Friday, 18th May (18:30-21:30), full days on 20th and 27th May 2012 at Weetwood, University of Leeds.  Perfect for your mature juniors (16+) and beginner coaches. Slaz set off guns blazing to get a win after losing to Normanby Park in the first half of the season, however came away with the first loss of the new year. Slaz midfielders ran the game which meant Slaz were constantly in the opposition half, but the Normanby side aren't top of the league for no reason, they defended hard and kept pressure on the Slaz forwards. Report: 28-01-2012 – Mens 2nd’s (1) vs. (2) Leeds University 6th’s

Slazenger Men’s 2nd Team had an away match against Leeds University 6th Team. It was a close match with only a mistake costing Slaz a draw. The home team started off the strongest but were not able to score against a tight Slaz defence. Slaz then pushed back creating chances of their own, but like the home team they were unable to score. Report: 28-01-2012 – Mens 3rd’s (0) vs. (0) Brigg 4th’s

Slazenger men's 3rd's hosted league high flyers Brigg 4th's at home, succeeding at holding them to a goalless draw. After putting 2 past Brigg to take a draw in the away leg, Slaz were looking to improve and take the 3 points. However, the task was easier said than done. The team struggled to get into a rhythm and their usual style of hockey was nowhere to be seen.
