At times Slazenger struggled to find their true rhythm but when they did get their passing game together they were rewarded with goals by Keith Hellam (2). Slazenger seconds recorded a fine 4-1 victory over Doncaster fourths. A superb strike from man of the match Mark Swinden set the standard.
