BACK TO HOCKEY CAMPAIGN KICKS OFF THIS WEEK!
BACK TO HOCKEY AT SLAZ This Thursday, Slaz will be running the first of its "Back To Hockey" sessions. Back to hockey is a nationwide England Hockey backed campaign to help get more women into the sport. The sessions are an informal way to try out the sport, keep fit and have some fun in a team environment, without having to commit to membership, regular training or competition. Annual Primary School Tournament a Success
[singlepic=2348,450,300,,center] On Tuesday 15th, Slazenger Hockey Club hosted its annual primary school hockey tournament, this year with an olympic theme. Working with the Woodkirk schools partnership, the tournament is a result of coaching and hockey development in local schools. The primary school students were able to compete on on Slazengers' hockey astroturf, a facility which most junior schools usually wouldnt have access to.
