Arriving with 5 substitutes and an unbeaten run in the league, it looked to be a close game, especially with key players missing from the Slazenger team. Ladies 1st's Ladies 1st's hosted Kingston Upon Hull 1st's on Saturday. Hull sit comfortably 2nd in the table and it looked like Slaz were in for a tough afternoon, however in the end it was Hull who struggled and were lucky to hang on for a draw. Mens 1st's (3) vs. (3) Leeds Adel 1st's The firsts set out well against this weeks opposition, keen to make up for a bumpy fixture the week prior. From the start it was clear this was going to be a hard fought game, made even more tough from the absence of several strong players. Mens 1st's (2) vs. (4) Thirsk & Malton 1st's This weekend’s long drive North to play the recently aggregated Thirsk & Malton hockey club brought an unceremonious end to a run of form that had brought the Mens 1st team to the top of the league.
