This year we will be running a mixed interclub summer league. It’s a perfect opportunity to play some social mixed hockey. All money raised will go into the pitch sinking fund. Junior End of Season BBQ
The Junior End of Season BBQ will be Saturday 9th May 2015 Tickets include the BBQ and will be available behind the bar until the end of April. Given the numbers who attend, you will need to have bought tickets in advance. As is tradition, there will be the parents vs kids tournament from around 9:30am - 12noon. Senior End of Season Awards Dinner
The Senior end of season dinner is now all booked! As with the last couple of years, the event will be at the Holiday Inn; Ossett (M1 Junction 40) and is open to all players in the senior squads. Saturday 25th April - 7:00pm (for 7:30pm) £25 for adults, £20 for Students/Under 18's. Slazengers mens 2nd team faced Huddersfield mens 3's in their penultimate game of the season and ran out comfortable 5-0 winners. Slazengers were quick off the mark and put Huddersfield under early pressure but failed to find the net until midway through the half when Brett Cunningham finished off a good cross from winger Ian Hedges. Slazenger's 3's made the journey to Ilkley side Ben Rydding for their final match of the season. The first half saw Slazengers on top of their game with the midfield ensuring that the Ben rydding side only encroached the Slazengers half on a handful of occasions and when they did they caused no concern for the experienced slazengers defence.
