Sportathon Update Meeting 19th May The local fundraising manager from Cancer Research – a young lady called Lynne attended the meeting. She is very keen to help in any way that she can. Progress from the last meeting Kelly has spoken to “Soul Divine” who will definitely play for free and we would like to go ahead with their offer. Umpires Needed for Yorkshire Selection
On Sunday 26th April the North East JAC U14/13 Boys competition will be held This is the competition between West, North, South Yorkshire, Humberside and Durham, and is selection for the Yorkshire (Leeds Pumas JRPC) Squad. Slazenger HC 65th Anniversary “Sportathon”
2015/16 will be Slazenger's 65th Anniversary season. To celebrate, and open the season, Slazenger HC will be running a "Sportathon" with the aim or raising £15,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. This will go towards/pay for a particular piece of equipment at The Royal Marsden Hospital; a world leading cancer research hospital.
