Last weekend saw many of the regional masters tournaments go ahead. Slazenger was well represented in 4 of the Yorkshire and North East Squads, including the Ladies Over 35’s the previous weekend. It’s a fantastic achievement for those who got selected to represent their region! Well done everyone!
Yorkshire and North East Men’s Over 55’s
Alan Perry was in Southgate HC with the Yorkshire and North East Men’s Over 55’s. The side encountered a strong series of oppositions. However a final game against the West held them to a draw, preventing them from being Champions of the tournament
Yorkshire and North East Ladies Over 50’s
Tracy Lorriman was in action in net for the Women’s Over 50’s at Surbiton Hockey Club. The team wrapped up an impressive 4th place finish against some tough regional sides, only missing out on Bronze medal by goal difference.
Yorkshire and North East Men’s Over 45’s
Damian Greig, Ben Graham and Chris Liversidge travelled down to Bedford HC for Yorkshire and North East in the Over 45’s finals. It was a tough tournament for the O45’s with some results only having a goal in it.
