This weekend, there is a slight change of plans to usual.
Sunday 8th November – Schools Tournament
On Sunday 8th November, Slazengers will be hosting a tournament against local schools. These have been receiving coaching over the last term and it’s a chance to put it to the test against U10 & U12 teams from the club!
Teams will be joining us from:
Horbury St. Peters & Clifton CE Primary School
Horbury Primary School
Rook’s Nest Academy
We plan to run training from 9:15 am as usual. However, instead of continuing training until 11am, we will stop at 10:30am. All those U10’s & 12’s are welcome to stay and compete against the school teams. For the safety of the Pumas group (U8’s and new players), training will finish at 10:30am and we won’t ask them to play in the tournament.
Running order:
9:15am – Training Starts as normal
10:30am – School tournament
12:00 – tournament finishes
We hope everyone can stay until 12:00 and have a good competition against the local teams!
