A brilliant day was had by all. Starting promptly with the photographer from the Wakefield Express taking photos of as many of our teams as possible, to the actual games.
The parents put up a really good game this year (they are improving with age!) however it was a just result, although close with the winners of the tournament – The Kids’s
Result: Parents 41 points – Kids 43 points so very close.
Our sincere thanks go to all those involved with the day. All the coaches that assisted on the pitch, our ever reliable bbq team and all the ladies that helped and prepared on the ‘salad counter’. Paresh Tejura for the fantastic sponsorship he obtained and of course to our sponsor themselves KEELHAM FARM SHOP for their hand made Sausages & Burgers which were the hit of the day.
A massive club thankyou to Alan Perry for the tremendous work that he puts into this event and his long suffering wife Gaynor.
If you were unfortunate to miss the occasion, Alan has everyone’s certificates so if you don’t see him before the start of the season you can collect them on our return to coaching in September.
