September 3, 2010 by Slazenger HC

Junior Training starts again for the 2010/11 season on the Sunday 5th September.

05/09/10 – Boys & Girls U10/12 – 09.15 – 10.30

All other age groups – 10.15 – 12.00

Additional Monday night training for Boys & Girls U14/U16 commences on:

13/09/10 – 19.45 – 21.00

Membership forms will be available for the current season, these will include the requirement for all personal details and medical health. Please ensure you obtain one from our reception and return as soon as possible.

Clothing: Please ensure that suitable clothing is worn for the training sessions considering all weathers.

Food: Our coaches have noticed in the past that some players seem to bring their ‘breakfast’ with them! Usually consisting of crisps and chocolate bars. This is fine for after the training sessions but not to be recommended whilst during as some seem to do during designated drink breaks. Choking and dehydration being one of our main concerns. Please advise accordingly.

Drink: Non fizzy drinks are not recommended for during or after training. These can have the opposite effect in hydrating. Water or water based flavoured drinks are acceptable and please ensure sufficient liquid is brought to the training sessions.

Club Clothing:

Hoodies can be ordered from our reception. Please note that we require a minimum of 10 orders in order to process.

Weather Tops New for last season to the club. These can be seen on our website or in the latest newsletter.

BRING A FRIEND Our training sessions are open to all. We fully recommend young people to be active in sport so if you have a friend or two that would like to try hockey as a sport please bring them down.
