Membership Fees

Membership fees cover the costs of using the pitch for training and the operation of the club. This includes affiliations, etc which are incurred throughout the season. This subscription means there are no costs for training throughout the season.

For full time students and U18′s playing senior hockey, Club membership fees are reduced to £35

Membership payments can be paid using STANDING ORDER, using the form found here. Just fill it out, and the money can be transferred monthly to save you paying a single large up front payment.

Match Fees

In order to reduce up front membership fees and keep costs lower for irregular players, we charge a flat rate of £7 per match. If you play a second match (for a different team during that day), then only one set of match fees are paid. We do suggest captains ensure all players wishing to play get a game before looking for players to double up. [For U18's playing senior hockey, students and unemployed; match fees are £4]

Coaching fees

There are NO coaching fees! That means no additional costs for you. Its all covered in the £70 membership subscription – simples!

Membership of Sports Club

Slazenger Hockey Club is part of Slazenger Sports and Social Club. As such, membership of the hockey section includes membership of the Social Club. This means part of the membership subscription goes to the club to cover running of the facilities. This membership is not without its benefits, as it entitles you use of the Club as a social member, as well as reduced cost access to the Tennis courts and bowls pitch. Membership Fees

The membership fee for junior players is £20. This covers the cost of running the junior section, including coaching costs, team entry fees, etc

Coaching fee

Due to the overlap between match times and coaching, players will miss some training sessions; some more than others. Therefore we charge a flat rate of £3 per session, to maintain low costs for our junior players.

Match Fees

Match fees for the junior section are £2.50 per match. These are payable to the team coach on the day.

Membership of Sports Club

Slazenger Hockey Club is part of slazenger Sports and Social Club. As such, membership of juniors requires family membership of the club; a small cost which covers costs of running the Sports Club. Family membership of the sports club entitles you use of the Club as a social member, as well as reduced cost access to the Tennis courts and bowls pitch for all the family.
