Welfare

Slazenger HC takes the responsibillity for the protection of young people seriously, and has a qualified welfare officer for each section of the club. The role of the welfare officer is to promote good pratice within our club. They are also the main point of contact for young players, family and others and, are able to implement England Hockey’s reporting procedures in case of concern. Having a welfare office for each section of the club means that whether young players are starting out, or are competing at a higher level, there is always a trained officer avaliable.
