With only three Yorkshire League 2 games remaining, Slazenger Ladies didn’t show any signs of easing off against Otliensians, who felt the full brunt of the Slazenger machine, crashing 5-1.
Good support from Holly Tyers and Lisa Dransfield gave player of the match Julie Bear the chance to open the scoring. Goals followed from Lyndsay Harvey and Tyers.
Midfield strength from Elainee White, Andrea Wallace and Sue Swinden ensured Otley enjoyed relatively little posession.
A lapse in concentration let Otley in for their only goal.
